The liquid funk golden era, the development of mainstream drum’n’bass, the experimental autonomic movement, neurofunk, jump-up, the jungle renaissance – the list goes on. They all delivered… and these stone cold classics, slept-on gems and absolute anthems are what they picked.ĭrum’n’bass has continually evolved since the dawn of the century, consistently morphing, mutating and spawning new hybrids and subgenres and ushering in new generations of artists and fans at every stage. Like all things in this culture, selection is everything – so we’ve looked across the styles, generations and territories for an incisive rollcall of selectors that ranges from Bryan Gee to Mantra, Fabio to Phace.
